Brilliant is a fluorescent UV leak detector dye designed for use in AC/R systems. This universal formulation is compatible with all refrigeration lubricants and refrigerants across both Automotive and HVAC/R sectors. With its high fluorescence, it enables quick and precise detection of refrigerant gas leaks.
Unlike many products containing solvent-based chromophore pigments, which can damage AC/R systems and components (such as aluminium, plastics, and rubber) and pose health risks due to carcinogenic solvents like Aromatic200 and NMP (N-methylpyrrolidone), Brilliant is solvent-free. It is non-toxic and safe for all AC/R system components, complying with SAE J2297 and SAE J2298 standards
